A 5‑week Advent Soul Care Yoga series to deepen our understanding and experience of joy this advent and beyond.
🫶 Joy To The World
🫶 Joy To The World
Joy is all around us…
From greeting cards with joy written in delicate script, to bold light displays flashing Joy to eager onlookers, during the Christmas season we are surrounded by the reminder that the season invites us to claim and cling to joy.
🫶 But how can we lean into joy when the world feels weary?
🫶 Is being joyful an avoidance of reality?
🫶 Is joy something more than we’re being marketed as smiles and sparkles?
This advent we will explore joy not as escapism, but as a sacred, embodied response to a complex world.
Through yoga asana (movement), breath work (pranayama), meditation, soul-nourishing reflection, and contemplative practices we’ll explore how joy deepens our capacity to live fully, how it calls us to vulnerability, wonder, resistance, and presence.
And, how Jesus’s arrival was the beacon of joy declared by the angels as the most joyous news the world has ever heard.
